Parent Information Center of Delaware seeks individuals with a strong commitment to the involvement of informed, empowered and educated families in improving outcomes for Delaware’s children.

Bilingual Parent Consultant (NEW CASTLE COUNTY) part-time, 25 hours per week.

The Parent Consultant works with project directors, partners, districts and schools, Medical Home pilots, health providers, and family volunteers to provide high-quality, culturally responsive services leading to positive outcomes for children, youth, and their families and positive relationships with professionals. The Parent Consultant also provides education and training and helps parents and caregivers develop effective strategies for coping, resolving conflicts, and acquiring life-long advocacy skills.

Project & Family Engagement Coordinator – Family SHADE, (Support & Healthcare Alliance Delaware) and Family-to-Family Health Information Center Programs (F2FHIC)

Project & Family Engagement Coordinator position is Full-time, 30- 35 hours per week.

(Support & Healthcare Alliance Delaware) and Family-to-Family Health Information Center Programs (F2FHIC) providing administrative oversight, and program coordination of project activities. The Project & Family Engagement Coordinator works with project staff to coordinate meetings, symposia, and annual summit, schedules trainings and workshops, ensures communication and promotion of all Family SHADE, and F2F activities, and assists with data collection and reporting. The Project & Family Engagement Coordinator will have demonstrated experience working with programs serving CYSHCN, project management and coordination, and managing and promoting MCHB programs. Candidates will also have Experience supporting nonprofit development, training, and reporting.

Transition Coordinator – Youth & Young Adults with Disabilities

Transition Coordinator FLSA: Non-Exempt position is Part-time, 25 hours per week.

The Transition Coordinator works with project directors, partners, districts and schools, health providers, and family volunteers to provide high-quality, culturally responsive services leading to positive outcomes for children, youth, and their families, and positive relationships with professionals.  The Transition Coordinator also works with transition-aged youth with disabilities, ages 14 to 26, by providing, education and training and helps youth, parents and caregivers develop effective strategies for coping, resolving conflicts, and acquiring life-long advocacy skills.
