PIC Community Doula Program

The PIC Community Doula Program, through a Healthy Women Healthy Babies grant from the Division of Public Health, focuses on building a framework of support for pregnant and postpartum families throughout Delaware. This is accomplished through a comprehensive Community Perinatal Health Program that covers all three counties of the state and includes doula certification and training, health and education outreach, and doula childbirth and postpartum support. This program is focused in areas of the State with the largest identified health disparities for women and infants in communities of color.
