Parent Information Center is currently looking for a part-time Transition Coordinator.
Classification: Part -time 15-20 hours/week Employment Type: At-will Overview
The Parent Information Center of Delaware (PIC) is a statewide non-profit organization with a mission to advance effective parent and youth engagement in education. The Transition Associate will work with transition-aged youth with disabilities, ages 14 to 26, to increase their understanding of self-advocacy and future planning as it relates to the special education process and subsequent college and career readiness.
The Parent Information Center (PIC) offers the following services to parents and youth self- advocates:
A Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s Degree, or High School Diploma PLUS a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a community-based setting
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
