Ian A. Baker was born in Wilmington to Frances E Baker and Desmond E Baker. He attended the defunct Christ our King and received a full ride scholarship to Salesianum HS where he played football, basketball, and track. He then got a partial academic scholarship and partial athletic scholarship to play football at Hampton University in Hampton Virginia. After receiving his bachelor degree, he had the dilemma of a trade. So he entered the restaurant school @ Walnut Hill College. Receiving an Associates in Culinary Arts. Thru is matriculation he was offered a position to teach and has been doing so for 6 years. Chef Baker, as he is known to his students has cooked all over the world and the US. He is married to Tay Y. Baker and the parents to son Bryce and identical twin girls Somry and Sage. In his free time, Ian likes to cook, fix up the house, and travel. His dream job is to be a restaurateur.
