Advocacy started for me,  after the sudden loss of my son’s father. He faced significant trauma and had a pretty hard time getting adjusted to school. Thus, I had to become his superhero! I began to research educational laws, and regulations. I took the knowledge I gained and used it to help other mothers I knew with navigating the education system. I am dedicated to helping mothers and fathers just like myself! Advocacy isn’t a job for me, its who I am!
