Parents and their youth (aged 13 to 21) are invited to participate in this event focused on self-advocacy skills and preparation for life after high school.

Resources to help you and your student prepare for life after high school

    Learn about self-advocacy and how to advocate for yourself in school.Learn about resources to help you graduate
    Learn more about your disability and what services you may be entitled to.
    Help with goal-setting and ways to stay on track!Learn about your IEP and how to participate in meetings
    • Learn the tools for self-advocacy and how your family, school and others can support you

 

    The Family/Caregiver’s role in the Transition Process
    Community supports for students
    • Hear from student and parent advocates!
