Leadership Development Opportunities: 

  • Present at conferences, trainings, and other public speaking events 
  • Provide input on articles and publications
  • Advocate with organizations serving youth and their families 
  • Participate in volunteer activities related to Special Education  
  • Communicate with elected officials about policies regarding the needs of youth

Guidelines:

  • You must be between the ages of 14 and 22 who has an IEP or a 504 Plan
  • Submit a completed application
  • Have parental permission/support to participate
  • Be available to meet once a month (2nd Thursday of the month from 4:30pm – 6:00pm via Zoom)
